How Can I Dim My LED Lights Without a Switch?

I recently moved into a rental and I'm stuck with some super bright LED lights. My landlord doesn't want to change them, and there's no switch or dimmer to control the brightness. Does anyone have suggestions on how to lessen the brightness of these lights?

Some LED fixtures come with a built-in switch for changing brightness or color, so it’s worth checking inside the housing if you can access it. Look for a switch or a setting that lets you tone down the brightness.

You can try using filters like translucent sheets or even colored tissue paper over the lights to soften the brightness. Photographers often use filters for a similar effect, so it's worth experimenting!

Yes! Neutral density filters work wonders; just make sure whatever you use can handle the heat!

If changing the bulbs isn’t an option, you might want to look for some lower wattage LEDs that still fit your fixtures. They come in different brightness levels, so you could find something that's 40W or even 20W, which should help a lot!

Totally agree! Also, going for warmer light temperatures, like 3200K, can help make bright LEDs feel less harsh.
