I've just installed a SPH inverter with ARK batteries, and I'm finding it tricky to reliably set it up for charging only from AC. I'm typically using modbus for communication and would like to know how I can effectively disable solar charging completely. Any advice would be appreciated!

Unfortunately, you can't fully disable PV charging since it's always active. However, if you don't want your inverter to draw from solar, avoid boosting the MPPT settings. Check your manual for scheduling options that allow for grid charging. By the way, what's your inverter's exact model number?

To set it up for grid charging, configure your system to draw from the grid during specific times. For example, let the batteries discharge from 09:00 to 20:00 and set a stop at a certain percentage. This way, any solar production during that time will go to the grid or your load. At night (20:01 to 08:59), switch to using the grid to charge your batteries. You can customize the timings to match your needs.
It's the SPH10000 TL3 BH. I've tried increasing the Vpv start value over 700V, but it was ignored. Any suggestions on modifying MPPT values? I managed to get grid charging to work sometimes via the web interface.
