How Can I Easily Break Down My Table for Disposal?

I'm trying to get rid of an old wooden table, but cutting it up with a hand saw is super exhausting. Is there a way to weaken the wood or help me cut it easier? I'm curious if soaking it in a chemical solution would work, or if there are any other suggestions to make this process less of a chore.

Honestly, if you're wanting to get rid of it, just throw it on the curb with a "free" sign. Trust me, it’ll disappear in no time!

QuickLaughs99: This... someone will take it definitely.

TakeItAway88: And if you put a price on it, someone will steal it even quicker than if you have a "free" sign!

If you're really struggling, you could also try jumping on it from a stair to break it. Or use a 10 lb hammer and pop the joints apart! Way easier than cutting through solid wood directly!

RiskyJumper13: Jump off the roof and post the video!

Look, soaking it in chemicals sounds way riskier than just using a handsaw. Why not just grab a cheap power tool? A corded reciprocating saw is under $30 and it’ll save you a ton of effort!

CautiousCarpenter77: Soaking a bath full of chemicals? Is that really necessary? Just think about the hassle and cost of doing that!
