I'm really frustrated with pest issues in my garden right now. I believe I've brought oleander aphids back from a nursery, and I've also got spider mites and mealybugs. Is this a seasonal problem, considering I'm in zone 9b? What's the best way to get these pests under control?

As a former greenhouse tech, I’d suggest adjusting your strategies based on whether your plants are indoors or outdoors. For aphids and spider mites, using a hose to blast the pests off your plants is often the first step. Also, make sure to consider if you want to keep things organic! Just a heads up, I have less experience with mealybugs, but staying chemical-free is typically a good idea unless absolutely necessary.
Just to clarify, are your plants outside or indoors?
You might want to try Natria insecticidal soap. It’s safe and effective against most insects, especially if regular soapy water isn't doing the trick. Personally, I find it works better than neem oil for these kinds of pests.
