Hey everyone! I started growing plants back in 2020, but I keep having trouble keeping them alive—most of them die before they even reach a few inches tall! I switched to aeroponics, which gives me more control, but I'm curious about my soil issues. The main problem seems to be that my soil never dries out. I grow indoors under grow lights, but despite trying different soils, fertilizers, and containers (even fabric bags), nothing works. I'm looking for quick methods to help dry out my soil. I thought about using a heat lamp, but that seems risky. Any suggestions?

It sounds like your pots' drainage might be crucial here! Make sure they have good drain holes. If the soil is too wet, try watering deeply but less frequently, allowing it to dry out a bit between waterings. Observing your plant can help you adapt to its needs, whether it’s indoors or outdoors. You might also want to experiment with different light placements and humidity levels to see how your plants respond.

I do have drainage holes and I'm watering less frequently, but my soil is still wet after 4 days. I moved the plants to my grow tent with the fans on max for airflow but they're still not drying out. I'm using Miracle-Gro potting mix, so it’s supposed to be good. Any other ideas?
