I'm dealing with a lot of spider webs on my patio in California. The webs are really fine, and I can barely see the spiders that are making them. What's the best way to cut back on these spider webs? Any tips for prevention and removal would be great!

One effective way to keep those pesky spider webs at bay is to use peppermint oil or other strongly scented oils like lavender, cedar, and eucalyptus. These fragrances are known to repel spiders and other insects. You can easily find products marketed as 'natural spider repellents' that should do the trick—plus, they smell nice!
A classic method is just to grab a vacuum and clean the webs out. It's quick and gets rid of them on the spot!
Don't forget the good old broom! If you give your patio a good sweep a couple of times a year—say, 2-3 times— it can really help. Just takes about 10 minutes and you're good to go!

Thanks for that expert advice! I've noticed the webs can come back pretty quickly, though.
