I'm trying to root a succulent that has no roots right now. Would it be wise to let it sit in water to encourage root growth, or is that risky because it might lead to root rot? I've been at this for ages and still haven't seen any progress!

I agree with PlantGuru99! If you really want to try water propagation, you could place the succulent in water but only partially, making sure the leaves aren't submerged.
