How Can I Enlarge a Small Drain Hole for a Sink?

I need some urgent advice! I'm trying to install a removable stainless tailpiece on my sink, but the drainage hole is too small for it to fit. I'm wondering if there's a way to safely enlarge the drain hole? I'm worried about potential leaks if I go that route. Any suggestions? Here's the link to the part I'm trying to fit: https://www.amazon.sa/-/en/BAFAMISS-Removable-Stainless-Tailpiece-Retaining/dp/B0CLRVD1HB

Enlarging the drain hole can definitely be done, but you have to be careful! Use a hole saw for a clean cut and check for leaks afterward. If you’re not confident in your plumbing skills, it might be a good idea to get a professional to help out.

Before you start enlarging the drain hole, have you double-checked the measurements? Sometimes a different fitting can save you a lot of trouble. If you’re sure it needs to be expanded, go for a bit at a time and ensure you’re using the right tools. Just monitor for any leaks afterward.
