How Can I Extend My 36×36 Shower to 60″ Long Without Making It Wider?

I'm looking to extend my current 36x36 shower to make it longer, ideally to 60 inches, but I can't make it any wider. I'd like to have the entrance located on one of the 36" sides. I've been struggling to find shower pans that fit this specific dimension. Does anyone have suggestions or know of any options that could work for my situation?

I did a quick search and found plenty of options when I looked for "36x60 shower pan." It might help to clarify what you find lacking in those options or what features you're specifically looking for. Plus, keep in mind that you can always mud in and tile a custom pan to fit your exact needs, which opens up a lot of possibilities!

Thanks for the tip! I just need one with the entrance on the short side, which seems to be the tricky part.

Yeah, there are lots of pans designed for bathtub replacements that could work for you. If you go with a drop-in pan, just check if it's compatible with your planned dimensions. Otherwise, getting creative with mud and tile might be the best route to create a custom-sized pan!

I see what you mean, but I still haven't encountered any that have the entrance on that short side. Have you had more luck?
