I recently got a loft bed for my daughter, but the bed size is full, while her current mattress is a twin size Beautyrest that we bought a year ago for $500. We're planning to keep the twin mattress but now there's a 15 x 75 inch gap on the bed. Does anyone have any creative ideas on how to fill that gap?

It really depends on what your daughter might like! You could fill the gap with a bunch of pillows to keep the mattress in place and use it as a storage spot for blankets and stuffed animals. Another fun idea is to make or buy a few storage boxes with lids to fit in the space, or maybe even turn that section into a little bookshelf or display shelf!
Have you thought about the design of the bed? If it’s wood or metal, that might change your options. But honestly, with a gap that big, might be worth just cutting your losses and investing in a new twin mattress.
You could try getting a twin memory foam mattress to match the thickness of her Beautyrest. People often use this technique on boats for odd shapes – it’s pretty simple to cut to size!

It’s a wood frame with slats, just so you know.
