How Can I Fix a Warped Dovetail Saw Blade?

I recently restored a McMaster Belfast dovetail saw, but I've run into an issue: the blade is warped, distorted, and twisted. I'm looking for advice on how to straighten it out effectively.

You might want to start by checking the spine of the saw. If it's straight, try giving it a gentle tap against your workbench. Sometimes a little hit with a hammer on both ends of the spine can do the trick. Just be careful not to overdo it! If the blade is really misaligned, consider removing it from the spine to see if it's straight on its own.

A picture of the saw would be super helpful for diagnosing the issue! Sometimes, the blade gets improperly pressed into the spine, which can cause twisting. You could try placing one end of the blade in a vise (make sure to protect it with some wood blocks) and then gently pushing or pulling the other end to see if you can straighten it out.
