How Can I Fix My Baseboard That Doesn’t Sit Flush Against the Wall?

I've got a baseboard issue where it isn't making a perfect 90-degree angle with the wall. It looks like the coping is a bit off, and although I could caulk it, I'm curious if there are any other tricks to get it fitting better. Check out this image here: https://imgur.com/a/8aamcXP. Any advice would be appreciated!

Since this is paint grade, caulking is a solid choice. However, what I do with clear grade base is make some template blocks and cut a slight bevel into the base. I then use those templates against the flat piece to see which one fits best and replicate that.
