I've got a front-load Samsung washer sitting on top of a drawer stand, and it's seriously out of balance. I've tried everything I know, but nothing seems to work! Can anyone suggest who I should call for repairs or what steps I could take myself? Any advice would really help!

When your washer is out of balance, it usually comes down to some suspension components like springs or rods going bad. If you feel comfortable doing some DIY, you could take it apart, check the springs, and see if any are stretched or loose. Replacement kits can easily be found online, so if one’s broken, it might be worth changing them all out while you’re at it! If that sounds too tricky, calling a local appliance repair place is definitely a good move for a fix.
Before you call anyone, have you checked if the washer is level? Sometimes just adjusting the feet can do wonders. Use a level to make sure it's straight. Also, uneven loads can mess with the balance – so try redistributing the clothes. If those things don’t work, you might need a maintenance person to take a look at the internal springs or shock absorbers.
Absolutely right! And don’t forget: if the washer is still under warranty, Samsung support might be a good resource too.
I had the same issue with my Samsung front loader. It turned out the bearings were shot! I spent a while replacing shocks before I figured it out. If you lift the basket and it moves a lot, you might be dealing with that too. If you don't wanna mess with it, definitely get a technician to check it out for you.
Good call on checking the bearings first! That can save you a lot of hassle compared to just replacing shocks.

That’s a great point! Local repair shops usually have good recommendations for honest technicians.
