I'm a new homeowner and I've noticed there's a pretty big gap between the metal threshold at my door and the wood flooring underneath. I have no idea how to fix it. What are my options?

You might want to check out some floor transition strips at stores like Lowe's or Home Depot. They're great for covering those gaps! Also, if your wood flooring is unfinished, you have some options to make it match better with a little extra work.
Could you clarify a bit? Are we talking about a vertical or horizontal gap? And what's the size of it? If the gap is about half an inch wide and goes across the whole door opening, there are definitely ways to address it depending on the details of your flooring.
Do you have a picture of the gap? That could help a lot! If you're having trouble attaching a pic, just describe the gap and the type of flooring you have. It'll be easier to suggest solutions if we know more about it.
