How Can I Fix the Gap Between My Wood Flooring and Front Doors?

Hey everyone! I just moved into a new place, and while most things are in decent shape, there's this awkward gap where my wood flooring ends and the front doors start, and it bothers me a lot. I'm wondering if this is a DIY fix or if I should just call in a contractor. Can I easily handle this myself using supplies from Home Depot?

One simple fix could be to get a wider door threshold. They usually come up to about 6 inches wide, so it might be enough to cover up that gap. It's a pretty common solution for this kind of issue!

Yeah, you can definitely find a door threshold at Home Depot, and installing it yourself should be doable if you have some basic tools like a drill. Just make sure you measure the area before you buy!
