How Can I Fix Vibration on My Table Saw When Using a Dado Stack?

I have a Delta 10-inch table saw, and I'm noticing a significant amount of vibration when I attach the dado stack. I believe the issue lies with the arbor, which has a round surface about the width of two saw blades followed by a spiral screw area. Is there a solution to reduce or fix this vibration?

Have you tried using a backplate on the arbor? A small backplate (around 2.5 inches) can help stabilize things before you attach any blades. It can make a big difference in reducing vibration.

Yeah, there's definitely a small washer that should go on before putting on the nut. That could help with the stability!

I’m not exactly sure about the size of the arbor, but I have found my saw stabilizes just fine with a single blade. It might be worth checking if there's something off with the dado stack alignment or balance.
