I live pretty close to my neighbors—about 8 feet apart—and our dining rooms face each other. They have this reflective film on their window, which makes it really awkward to see my own reflection every time I peek through the blinds. I usually keep the blinds shut for privacy, but I'd like to start a tray of seeds and need more light. Is there a solution that could give me some privacy while still allowing enough light for my plants?

If you’re into plants, try using clear shelving or plant hangers. They can help block the view while still letting a good amount of light through, so your seeds can thrive!
You should definitely check out 'Window Privacy Film.' It lets in light while keeping your space private, which sounds perfect for your setup! Just be patient when applying it, and you’ll do great! There are plenty of styles out there from frosted to stained glass—I'm a fan of the frosted ones since they let in a ton of light without giving away much of what’s inside. Just make sure you measure everything right and use a sharp tool to cut.
Totally agree! I used it in my bathroom, and even if you're a beginner, it's super easy as long as you take your time.
Yeah, I've got some translucent film too, and it really helps with light while keeping the view obscure! Plus, the stained glass version can create beautiful rainbows!
Another option is a grow light bar! It can give your seeds the light they need without worrying about your neighbors peeking in.

I’m not sure if that provides enough privacy, especially if I want to keep my seedlings open enough to get light. It's a balance between plant coverage and light!
