I've recently encountered an issue with ants in my raised garden bed. They seem to be farming a bunch of aphids which is affecting my okra plants—they're essentially taking over! I've tried using diatomaceous earth (DE), borax mixed with sugar, and insecticidal soap, but nothing seems to work. With the aphids doing damage, I'm worried they might spread to my peppers. I've even tried using dry cinnamon around the base of the plants, but that didn't help either. It doesn't help that the rain washes away the DE. I'm really desperate for a solution at this point! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I've had a tough time with ants too, and I feel your pain! Honestly, I stopped using diatomaceous earth—it's just not worth it. When it comes to aphids, I handpick them off or mix up some dish soap with water. It’s super messy, but it works! You'll want to do this every couple of days for about a week. As for those pesky ants, I’ve used a propane torch to take them out! Digg down into the colony and torch them—just be super careful and have water ready in case of fires. It sounds crazy, but it’s effective! Once you deal with the ants, the aphids will start to fade too. And after that, let some ladybugs come in; they’ll keep things in check.
Jesus man you’re like the Doom guy but for ants!

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll get back to it ?
