How can I get rid of ants on my carpet?

I've noticed that there are tiny ants on my carpet. I don't eat in my room much, and I've vacuumed thoroughly, yet they keep showing up. Whenever I kill one, it seems like more appear. Does anyone have tips or products I can try to get rid of them? I'm open to any suggestions!

I recommend using Terro Liquid Ant Baits. Just set one down where you see the ants and be patient; it usually works within 12 hours. Don't kill them or interfere because they're just going to keep coming back. Let them take the bait!

Good tip! Just make sure to place the trap on something like cardboard, so it doesn't mess up your carpet. Even though you'll see more ants at first, that’s normal—just give it some time!

Try to figure out how they're getting in and seal any entry points. In the meantime, Windex can kill ants on contact without staining or leaving a strong smell. If you spray it on places like window sills, it helps keep them away for a while!

Have there been any recent rains or a drop in temperature? Those can drive ants indoors. And believe it or not, crushing them will attract even more because of the scent. If they persist, definitely grab some ant baits from your local store, they help a lot!
