Hey everyone, I'm struggling with a fungus gnat invasion in my snake plants! I recently replanted them into larger pots, and that's when I noticed these pests. I'm not sure how they ended up in my home, but I can't keep the plants inside with these gnats around. Has anyone found a successful way to completely get rid of them?

Diatomaceous earth is a game changer for snake plants! Just dust it on your plants and skip watering for a few days to let it do its magic. It's worked wonders for me in getting rid of pests like these before.
Just to clarify, fungus gnats don’t actually harm the plants, but they're super annoying! You might want to grab some Gnatrol to control them. Also, snake plants prefer a mix that's around 60% grit, so check if your soil is too dense.
It sounds like your potting mix might be the culprit! If you used a commercial potting mix, it could have had gnats in it already. One thing you can try is moving your plants outside for a bit. If that doesn't help, consider switching to a different brand of potting mix or using mosquito bits to fight them off. Good luck!
