How can I get rid of pesky raspberries invading my garden?

I've got a serious raspberry problem! They're taking over my garden, and despite my best efforts to dig them up, they keep sprouting back. I'm guessing they're regrowing from tiny roots that I can't seem to completely extract. I want to clear this area to grow vegetables, but I've also noticed them popping up in my lawn, plant area, and herb patch. I've heard about using Glyphosate and Triclopyr, but I know those aren't safe for vegetable areas. Any advice on how to effectively deal with this raspberry invasion without ruining my garden (and my neighbor's garden)?

Haha, sounds like you need to channel your inner garden warrior! The best advice I've got is just to keep digging out every sprout you see. They'll eventually die off if their roots aren’t getting the nutrients they need from healthy leaves. Good luck!

That made me chuckle too! It's like garden karma in action. Let's hope you figure out the mystery of the dying raspberries!

Diligence is key here! Just stay on top of removing them whenever they pop up. No need to resort to chemical solutions when you're planning to grow food!

Sounds good! I'll keep at it!

If you can, try placing a layer of cardboard over the raspberry patch after you've dug them out. Then, cover it with compost and soil. It's helped a friend of mine by smothering the plants! Just keep mowing and weeding around the area too. It’s a long game, but it can work! I'm in zone 8a, so hopefully, that helps!
