How Can I Get Rid of Roaches in My Apartment?

I've just moved into an apartment, and I'm already seeing roaches—this was day one! As the weather is getting warmer, it seems like the number of roaches is only increasing. I've tried using Raid and deep cleaning the place, but nothing seems to work. What products or methods can I use to effectively eliminate these pests for a good while?

I feel your pain! If Raid isn't cutting it, it's time to take a stronger approach. Talk to your landlord immediately, as they should handle this problem. If they're slow to act, consider hiring a professional exterminator. Also, make sure to seal up any cracks in the walls or floors to keep those nasty critters from sneaking in. And, keep your food stored airtight; those little guys will nibble on anything they can! You’ve got this!

Have you thought about using roach bombs? They can be really effective if used correctly. Also, some people have had luck with Alpine WSG—it's considered one of the best for roach problems. Just make sure to follow all safety protocols when using these products!

Dealing with roaches in an apartment can be a real headache! In my experience, even with sealed food and clean trash habits, sometimes the problem isn’t just in your unit. If the problem persists after using sprays like Raid, you might want to reach out to your landlord to see if they can help with pest control. They might need to bring in an exterminator, especially if you notice any roaches around shared spaces like the garbage chute. Good luck!
