I'm dealing with a Virginia creeper that seems to be coming into my yard from an adjoining abandoned property. I've tried using Roundup (the new version without glyphosate) to spray the vines, which killed the leaves but I'm not confident that it actually killed the plant. I also used something with triclopyr, but that hasn't shown any results either. I've heard of a technique where you cut the vine and dip the end in herbicide, but I'm unsure of which herbicide to use. Some articles suggest glyphosate, but I can't find it anymore. Does anyone have tips on how to effectively stop this invasive plant? It's strange since it hasn't come into my yard like this before, but now it's really taking over.

I've had some luck planting weedy herbs like oregano around the border. They can sometimes help keep invasive plants at bay. Not a foolproof method, but worth trying if you're looking for a more natural approach!
Virginia creeper can be such a pain! It feels like it just keeps coming back no matter what you do, right? I've tried sooo many things, and honestly, I think you need to be persistent with it. You might want to consider applying 2,4D if glyphosate is unavailable. It helps control creeper without damaging your grass, which is a plus! Just keep an eye on it and don’t let it get too established in your yard.
