I'm moving to a new place where I can't attach a trellis or put screws or wires into the garden walls. I'm really hoping to grow some happy climbers, specifically Akebia quinata. I'd appreciate any creative ideas on how I can achieve this! Thanks in advance!

If your fence has concrete posts, I recommend using special clips that clamp onto the posts. They're super handy because they're removable and don’t require any drilling, so you won’t harm the fence. Plus, they allow good airflow behind the plants!
Did not know they existed at all, thanks for sharing!
You might want to consider using garden arches to train your climbers. I’ve got an Akebia growing through one and it looks amazing. You can place a couple of arches next to your fence to give the plant a place to latch onto!
Hadn’t thought that’d work - thank you!
I have used these before- they’re great! They help with airflow and are easy to replace if needed.
