I'm really worried about a tall dead tree, around 5-6 stories high, that's just 6 feet away from my property line. It hasn't had any leaves for over three years, and I'm afraid it might fall and damage my fence or shed, or even hurt my kids or dog when they're outside. I've tried talking to my neighbor about it, but she insists on keeping it for the wildlife that inhabits it, though she hasn't clarified what kind of creatures live there. We also contacted the council, but I'm not sure if they'll ever get back to us. Any suggestions on what steps we can take next?
