How Can I Handle Succulents Without Damaging Their Farina?

I'm a bit worried about my lovely Burro's Tail that's growing nicely, and I want to ensure I handle it properly, especially when the time comes to repot it. I know that the best way to preserve the farina is to not touch it at all, but if I absolutely have to, are there any materials or methods you suggest that can help me touch it gently without rubbing off that precious coating? I've tried using a soft paintbrush but it doesn't really help, and even the lightest touch from my finger seems to leave a mark. Any tips or tricks for this?

One great tip is to use disposable gloves! Just make sure to get a pair that fits well. It's actually the oils from your skin that are the culprits when rubbing off the farina. When you repot, try the chopstick method: you can maneuver the roots into place without having to handle the plant itself too much.

Vinyl, latex, or nitrile? And powdered or unpowdered? I'm curious if that really matters, haha. Thanks for the awesome tips!
