How Can I Hide Cables Under My TV Mounted on Stone?

Asked By CleverFox42 On

I've mounted my TV above the fireplace, but I'm struggling to manage all the cables since it's mounted on stone. What solutions can I use to hide the cords and what should I place under the TV for my devices? I'd love to get some ideas, though I can't share a picture. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to consider getting a cable channel. They’re pretty affordable and can be painted to match your stone, making it blend in nicely! Plus, you can run the channels wherever you like to keep things tidy.

If you're looking for a cleaner look, a surface-mount cable raceway could be perfect. It sticks on the surface, so no drilling into the stone, and you can attach a floating shelf or small cabinet right under the TV to hold your devices. You could even add decorative touches, like a stylish basket, to hide the cords!

I actually built a false wall over my fireplace using some furring strips and drywall. It allows for cable routing and keeps everything hidden. Just keep in mind that since your TV is on stone, options may vary.
