How Can I Improve My Cutting Plan with Software?

Hey everyone! I'm a carpenter from Portugal, and I'm looking for ways to improve the cutting plan I get from my boss. He usually writes it down on paper, but that can lead to mistakes, especially since there can be up to three pages of cuts. Is there a way to convert this into an Excel sheet, or is there any specific program that can help with this? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

It sounds like you need something that can help take those dimensions and turn them into an organized format. Have you considered using CAD software? Programs like FreeCAD let you input dimensions and create 3D models, which can also help visualize your cuts. If you're looking for something simpler, Excel can work too! You could make a template where you input all the dimensions and cuts easily.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll check out FreeCAD, but I also think Excel could simplify things for me at first.
