Hey everyone! I'm looking to DIY a pull-out tray for my cabinet, but I keep struggling to find the right fitting and terminology. I've already bought the wrong kind of slides before, and I'd rather not make that mistake again.
I want to create a pull-out tray similar to this [link](https://imgur.com/GYU3fC9), but instead of attaching anything to the sides of the tray or cabinet, I'd prefer to have two tracks mounted underneath the tray that sit on top of the cabinet base. The traditional undermount slides I've found still seem to require side attachments, which won't work for my space.

You can totally use undermount drawer slides for this setup! Just keep in mind that they require a button on the sides for disconnecting the drawer, which might be something you want to consider. Rev-a-Shelf also makes some cool slides that lift up to disconnect, which might suit your needs too!
You definitely have options! Using regular slides with wood runners beneath both the tray and the cabinet base would provide strong support. Just make sure to brace the shelf properly!
A Blum tandem undermount might work here. Check this out [link](https://www.rockler.com/blum-tandem-full-extension-drawer-slide-kit-with-blumotion-soft-close). They do require side mounting, but you could potentially install wood blocks inside the cabinet for them to attach to.
