I'm dealing with midges in my garden and I'm looking for advice on how to reduce their presence. What strategies or plants have you found helpful?

To keep midges at bay, it's super helpful to get rid of any standing water where they breed. Also, lighting citronella candles or incense can make a significant difference when you're outside, especially if you have a pond like me!
Planting marigolds and herbs like mint has worked wonders for me! I have mint pots on my patio, and I've noticed far fewer midges buzzing around since I added them. Give it a shot!
I've heard that mint is a great deterrent. I'm thinking of trying some herbs too!
Haha, I've just accepted that they love my garden! But I keep moving around, which seems to help with the bites. No relaxing for me!

Totally agree! Keeping the area dry and using citronella has saved my sanity in the evenings.
