I've recently noticed a lot of rat and mouse droppings in my garage. I'm looking for ways to keep them away without having to deal with traps or the potential of finding dead animals. Are there any effective cleaning products or preventative measures I can use?

You might want to consider getting a cat! We had a mouse issue one winter but once we adopted a cat, we never saw mice again. It’s a natural solution that keeps them away without the mess of traps.
That's a good point, but we already have a dog. Plus, doesn’t a cat bring back their kills? I’d rather not deal with that either.
