I've spotted a few cockroaches in my house lately—one in the kitchen sink, another by my shower door on the second floor, and one crawling across my living room floor. I've deep cleaned my home and don't think there's a major infestation since I haven't found any sign of one. I'm worried they're coming from outside, and I have no clue about their entry points. Since I have an infant who plays on the floor, I'm really anxious about these roaches appearing. Can anyone suggest preventative measures and ways to eliminate any lurking roaches without resorting to harmful methods like bug bombing? Thanks in advance for your help!

Try placing Raid large roach traps under all your sinks. You can also apply roach gel on exterior door sills and check the seals inside your home. If you find gaps, consider buying sealing strips from Amazon—they work great inside your house. Use steel wool to fill in larger gaps around plumbing under the sinks since it can be effective against roaches. Just remember, if you see one, there are likely many more! These traps should help target the nest effectively.
Place roach bait traps in childproof areas. Also, consider using boric acid powder. Just lightly dust it under sinks and around any exterior weep holes, as well as in corners of your garage. Just be cautious to avoid applying it on food surfaces, and don’t let your baby crawl where you’ve dusted. The amount of boric acid that’s toxic to humans is similar to that of salt. Just a light dusting is sufficient because it sticks to the roaches’ legs and they ingest it when they clean themselves. The combination of bait stations and some boric acid dusting should tackle your problem pretty well.
Thank you so much! I’ll definitely give this a try.

Thank you! "If you see one, you have many" definitely made me worried. I hope there's not a ton hidden inside my house!
