How Can I Make These Cuts Without a CNC?

I'm looking for some tips on how to achieve the cuts on the bottom part of this project my wife wants. I'd like to do it without a CNC machine if possible. Check out the design here: https://imgur.com/a/ywtDcrG.

You might want to use a router with a circle cutter attached to a track. This way, you can guide the router around a pivot point and control the depth more easily. Just make sure to set it up correctly for a smooth cut!

So, you're suggesting using the router circle cutter on a track for better movement? I think I've got the idea!

Using a guide bushing sounds like a solid plan! Setting your channel to the width of the bushing can help keep the bit straight. Spacing those grooves might be the tricky part though!

If you have a wood lathe, indexing it would be a breeze! You could create an index plate for your router to cut straight lines. Just cut each groove incrementally as you turn the piece.

You could create a circle jig to hold your work steady and combine it with some careful math and marking. You could also use drilling for holes and then a scroll saw for curves! But honestly, a CNC or laser cutter seems like it might have been used for that neat design.

I agree with that! But I'm going to give it a shot regardless. Thanks for the insight!
