How Can I Manage Mosquitoes in My Garden Without Using Repellent?

I'm gardening in zone 6a and loving it, but I'm dealing with a lot of mosquitoes! I prefer to water my plants in the evening to avoid disturbing pollinators in the morning. Is there any way to reduce mosquito presence without using repellents?

If you're really worried about pollinators, you could also think about watering in the morning, although that might not be what you prefer!
