I'm looking for natural methods to eliminate cutworms in my garden without using any pesticides. Has anyone had any success with this?

There are some natural pesticides you might consider, like neem oil, BT, or diatomaceous earth. Some people also use beneficial nematodes as a biological control. If you're up for a little night hunting, you can grab a flashlight and go out to pick them off. A blacklight works really well to spot them since they glow under UV light!

Thanks for the suggestions! The blacklight idea sounds interesting!

One great tip is to use toilet paper rolls, tin cans, or even flower pots with the bottoms cut off. Just bury them halfway in the soil around your seedlings. This creates a barrier that cutworms can't cross. Once your plants grow a bit, you can take these collars off.
