I've recently moved into a super small converted stable cottage with my 5-year-old daughter because it was the only affordable option that keeps her in the same school. The living room barely fits our sofa and TV, and the other rooms are even smaller. The upstairs bedroom we share has minimal space for our beds and her toys, making it feel really cramped. I've tried dividing our sleeping area with a curtain and made the most out of the little storage we have, but it still feels tightly packed. Plus, I can't access the back door because the sofa blocks it. Given that I'm on a waiting list with no immediate hope for a larger place, I really need some tips to make this space feel less claustrophobic!

Bright colors on the walls can really help make a space feel larger and more inviting! And remember, it's totally okay to feel a bit cramped at first—give yourself some time to adjust. At least you have a cozy place for you and your daughter, which is what really matters! You're doing great!
