I have a narrow driveway (about 10 feet wide) that connects to a public street. It's partly paved for one car, with the rest being a walkup to my property. My driveway is bordered by two neighboring properties and my deeds state that the driveway is mine up to the public road, with no easements. Unfortunately, cars often park in front of it, likely from my neighbors and people visiting the nearby park. The city won't put up a sign, but they said I can, as long as it's not on public land. I'm looking for advice on where I can place a sign that is clearly visible and doesn't obstruct my parking. Any product recommendations would also be appreciated!

I've seen people use yellow chains with signs attached. You could put stakes in the ground on either side of your driveway and hang a chain in between with the sign. That way it’s clear, and it also adds a little visual separation.
Why not install a sign that says "DO NOT BLOCK DRIVEWAY" just a foot or two back from the street? This way, it should be clearly visible to anyone parking there.
If folks keep parking in front of your driveway, I'd recommend calling the police next time it happens. They can tow the car and after a few instances, people will think twice before blocking you again! No point in just relying on a sign.
