My wife recently got some carved figurines from her late grandfather, but I'm a bit lost on how to take care of them. I'm not sure what kind of wood he used or their age. Can anyone give me tips on how to maintain them? I even have a picture of one that seems to be cracking. Thanks for any help!

If your figurines are just sitting on a shelf indoors, they shouldn't need any special maintenance. But if they're going to be handled a lot, just be careful. You can use furniture wax occasionally, just make sure not to overdo it so it doesn't build up too much.

Thanks for the tip! We do have guests over quite a bit, so I'll definitely consider getting some furniture wax.
