I'm facing a frustrating issue with my sunflower seeds! I've planted over 100 seeds all around my house, but the birds keep finding and eating them. It's really annoying because they don't seem to bother any of the other flower seeds I've planted. Does anyone have tips or tricks to keep the birds away until my seeds can grow? Thanks in advance!

Starting your sunflower seeds indoors can be a game changer! Once they develop their first set of true leaves, you can then transplant them outside. This method keeps them safer from birds until they're a bit stronger.
One effective method is to provide birds with alternative food sources to distract them from your sunflower seeds. You can also consider overseeding your sunflowers to increase your chances of some getting through!
Cover your seeds with about 2 inches of mulch; this can help hide them from the birds. Plus, setting up a bird feeder with seeds that the local birds prefer can keep them busy elsewhere! Just make sure you choose the right birdseed that they'll enjoy.

That's a great idea about the feeder! Plus, the mulch will really help. Just make sure it’s not too thick so your seeds can still sprout.
