How Can I Protect My Tulips from Squirrels and Bunnies?

I've noticed that my tulips are looking great this season, but it seems like some animals are munching on them. Any suggestions on how to keep squirrels and bunnies from ruining my garden? Thanks for the help!

You might want to consider using chicken feather meal; it looks like sand and works wonders at keeping those pesky critters away! Grab some as soon as you can!

Tulips are a favorite for all kinds of animals, from deer to mice. A great trick is using strong scents they dislike, like garlic or even rotten eggs. I mix raw egg with water and use it to soak the soil around the tulips every few weeks. It takes some time to kick in, so starting early is key!

Thanks, I’ll give that a shot!
