How Can I Remove a Built-In Fire Pit to Make Space for Parking?

I'm about to close on a house that has a built-in above-ground fire pit that measures about 4 ft by 4 ft, sitting on a concrete slab. I'm planning to remove it so I can create a parking spot in that area. How should I go about doing this? What type of contractor or repairman should I look for to help with the removal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Why not try posting it on Facebook Marketplace? You can offer it for free to anyone willing to disassemble and haul it away. It could be gone within a few hours that way!

I suggest just hiring some laborers to get the job done. They'll be able to help you take it out safely and properly.

You could honestly make it fun and get a sledgehammer! Not only will you remove the pit, but it's a great workout too!
