How Can I Remove Bermuda Grass from My Garden Naturally?

Asked By GreenThumb123 On

I have a 30 by 25-foot in-ground garden that was doing really well, but now Bermuda grass has completely taken over. I'm looking for ways to tackle this issue without using chemicals. Should I pull out all the plants, weed-eat the grass down, and then cover the area with cardboard soaked in water followed by mulch until spring? Also, how can I prevent it from coming back next year?

I recently used this product that worked wonders for me. It's kind of effective for various garden problems like Bermuda grass. You might want to check it out!

I've heard that using newspaper or cardboard can help. Another tip is to use black plastic, which can heat up in the sun and effectively 'bake' the grass away.
