I'm trying to replace my outdoor hose, but I'm having a tough time getting it off. I have a pipe wrench, but there's a knob that's blocking access to the nut I need to turn. The hose is leaking from the top plastic part, and I mainly want to swap out the actual hose. Does anyone have tips on how to tackle this?

First thing to try is removing the valve handle. It probably has a screw or nut right in the center that you can loosen to get more room. Once that's off, you should have better access to the nut you're trying to turn.
If that doesn't work, you might want to use some vice grips to get a better grip on the hose connection. Just be careful not to damage the fittings!
Also, if you have access to Knipex Cobra channel locks or something similar, those can really come in handy for jobs like this. They might fit better in the space you have!
