How Can I Repair My Torn Silicone Mat for the Litter Robot?

Hey everyone! I recently bought a Meowant litter robot for my Russian Blue cat, who loves to keep things tidy, but unfortunately, he managed to tear up the silicone mat where the litter goes. I've reached out to the support team, but haven't heard back. I'm looking for any DIY solutions since I tried sewing it but the tears are too numerous and awkward to fix that way. I also gave a specialized silicone glue a shot, but it didn't quite work out—the glue was hard to control and ended up causing my cat to scratch more. Any ideas on how to fix or replace this mat would be super helpful!

Honestly, if the mat keeps getting torn, you might be better off replacing it with something sturdier. Consider getting a cooling rack or a spiky plastic mat designed for catching litter. It’s probably smarter to just find a more durable alternative than keep trying to fix the silicone mat. Since the product isn't living up to expectations, you've got to come up with a workaround!

That’s good advice! Maybe a tough mat will hold up better against those claws.
