I'm a first-time homeowner trying to tackle cleaning my gutters, which are about 20 feet high. My roof has a bit of a steep slope, and although I plan to have someone hold the ladder, I'm looking for other tips or techniques to ensure I do this safely. I anticipate needing to clean the gutters regularly due to a large maple tree dropping seeds, so I want to avoid hiring professionals every time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked out gutter cleaning robots? I’ve heard some folks find them really handy!
Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend going high on a ladder without serious safety gear. I just bought a big pipe that connects to my shop vac and it works great for me from just a few feet up. But if you're not feeling comfortable, hiring someone is definitely the way to go, especially since this is your first time tackling it.

That's fair. I got an estimate and my roof doesn’t seem as high as I thought. Might give it a shot myself after all.
