I'm looking for advice on how to dry my chamomile safely. I have two adult cats and three kittens, and I read that chamomile is toxic to them. I'm worried about them being in the same room while the flowers are drying. I don't have paper bags to use, and I was considering the oven or air fryer on dehydrate mode, but I'm concerned about the fumes possibly making my cats sick. Any tips would be highly appreciated!

If you're worried about toxicity, it might be best to consult your vet for some specific guidance. Do you have access to a garage or a friend's place where you could hang the chamomile to dry? Alternatively, see if there's a local community kitchen, like at a church, where you could use a dehydrator.

I don't have friends nearby, but I do have a front porch. Would it be okay to dry them outside despite the bugs and animals?
