I've noticed some ants have made themselves at home in the soil of one of my garden plants. I've read that vinegar and coffee can be used to deter them, but I'm concerned since they're already living there. If I use ant killer, will that harm my plant?

You know, ants actually don’t harm plants. Their tunnels help aerate the soil and they eat pests that can damage your plant. I'd suggest just letting them stay; they might be doing more good than you think!
I agree with NatureNerd. Ants are beneficial for roots! But be cautious—some ants farm aphids, which can be a problem. Keep an eye on your plants to see if the ants are helping or causing issues!
In India, we often use turmeric for this purpose. Just sprinkle it over the soil, and usually, the ants will clear out. It's natural and won’t harm your plants!
