I'm looking for some creative and safe ideas to prevent my two-year-old from getting too close to our hot garage roof. I want to ensure she doesn't burn her hands or trip on the edge. If possible, I'd love something that also looks nice for when we have guests over. By the way, the toys on the roof were just there temporarily while we were mowing, so I definitely won't be keeping them there. I appreciate more thoughtful suggestions than just learning the hard way!

Consider putting up a trellis fence and planting some climbing flowers. It’ll not only help keep your little one away from the roof, but it'll also look great when it blooms!
One thing you could do is to install a wooden fence around the garage area. It'll keep her away from the roof, and it can look really nice depending on how you decorate it. Plus, it stops the toys from being a temptation!
Just take the toys off the roof! I mean, that’s just asking for trouble. Also, you could use some decorative barriers like low fencing or even some rose bushes as a natural deterrent. It’ll look pretty while keeping her safe.
Definitely! But a fence around that garage would be better than letting her find out the hard way how hot it really is.

Exactly! I can't believe the toys were up there in the first place. Definitely not going to help keep her safe!
