I recently got a new Diablo saw blade and I'm a bit concerned. If the blade ever rubs against something, I don't want it to transfer the red paint. What's the best way to get rid of the paint without damaging the blade? Also, how do I properly clean an older blade?

It's not something I worry about with Diablo blades, but if it really bothers you, you can carefully use acetone with steel wool or lacquer thinner. Muriatic acid is a last resort, just remember to wear gloves and take safety precautions!
I've never had any issues with the paint on my Diablo blades rubbing off during use. Honestly, if you're careful, it shouldn't be a problem at all!
Same here, I've used them without any paint transfer.
You must be messing with OP, unless you work exclusively with Jello.
If you really want to get rid of the paint to ease your mind, try running some scrap wood through the saw. That usually helps clean off any unwanted stuff really well.

With the right adjustments, I'm sure you could just leave the paint alone and focus on your projects!
