How Can I Safely Remove Squirrels from My Exterior Walls?

I've got a bit of a dilemma: there are squirrels living in my exterior walls, and I've noticed some chirping sounds, which means they've likely had babies. We were thinking about setting traps, but I'm really worried about trapping the parents and leaving the babies to die in the walls or outside before they're mature enough. How long should we wait to safely remove the whole family?

Honestly, I wouldn’t wait too long. Squirrels can create a lot of chaos if they’re left in the walls. I know a couple of folks who discovered huge nests behind their kitchen appliances during renovations. They seem cute but are actually pretty destructive. You definitely don’t want to risk any damage.

Yeah, I get it. But I'm worried about the babies being too young. I really don’t want to deal with a bad smell later if they can't survive.
